Hi! My name is Melissa Stewart. Born and raised in Canandaigua, NY - I have a passion and true love for the Finger Lakes Region. I would be honored (and excited) to share my knowledge with you — from the beautiful sights to the most delicious places to dine — all of the things that make this area an incredible place to call home. Having purchased and sold homes of my own, I have been able to see first-hand some of the most important pieces of buying and selling a home and I have been able to incorporate them into how I help my clients today.

I have been working in Real Estate for the past five years. Providing exceptional service, building meaningful relationships, and helping people is what I do best. Making my clients & customers happy is (and has always been) my #1 priority. Outside the office, one of my greatest joys in life is my family. My husband and I have two children, Owen (7) and Nina (almost 6, going on 23). My grandfather, Poppy, is also a huge part of my life (our lives) and I am determined to keep him young & happy forever – but mostly, I’m just thankful he’s still continuing to make memories with us. My husband is also a Canandaigua native, so being able to raise our children in our hometown has also been such an incredible endeavor. We are beyond lucky to be able to spend our summers on our boat on Canandaigua Lake, not only enjoying swimming and surfing, but also the breathtaking scenery! No matter how long I have been here, it never grows old! While you will often hear me expressing my discontent about the cold & blustery winters here in Upstate New York, I will also admit that I love spending my days freezing cold skiing Bristol Mountain with my family and watching my children learn and grow in a sport my husband and I grew up enjoying. Aside from my children with two legs, we also share our home and hearts with our 4-legged children, Abby (17-year-old black lab) & Stella (our 6-month-old Pudelpointer Pup who is full of life, personality and an over-abundance of energy). They add so much love, hair, and muddy paw-prints to our home; life just wouldn’t be the same without them.

The Finger Lakes Area certainly doesn’t have a shortage of wineries and restaurants, and I assure you, I am HERE for all of it – even if that includes skipping a meal for ice cream. While I absolutely love to cook and entertain, I will never argue dining out. Food is one of my passions. Wine is probably the next in line; I also love to visit and taste all the different Finger Lakes Wineries. I’ll be sure to tell you all the places you need to add to your to-do list once you land.
